Every year, music teachers from all over Singapore come together to perform local compositions in an annual concert organised by Singapore Teachers of the ARts (STAR). In 2017, the concert was held in National Gallery and free to the public. All&Comity was commissioned to create the visual identity and program guide for the event.
Inspired by the parallels to the advancement of music technology and the evolution of local music, illustrations were created to form a wallpaper motif of music players from the past till present, incorporating composers, singers and other cultural elements into each music device respectively.
Rather than the usual program booklet, we developed a unique set of postcards held in an envelope for the 3 performing sets. Each postcard contains details of the performers along with lyrics for the audience to sing along in the sessions.
